Will my belly bar show up on an xray?

i got my belly pierced yesterday, and because my parents absolutely hate piercings and are very judgemental about people who have them, they would kill me if they knew i had it (they were even angry when i got my ear pierced) i have an xray at the end of next month, and will my bar show up on it? or will i need to change it to a plastic retainer??
