Yesterday I left for work at about 7:45am, and my boyfriend (who absolutely loves my dog) said he would take him out for me. We live on a 2nd story apartment Benji, my dog, was fine according to my boyfriend. He was running up and down the stairs like normal he even ran into his crate like normal. My boyfriend also had to be at work an hour after me so we were both gone all day. When I got home I could hear Benji whimpering in his crate, and normally he barks. Well I looked in his crate and he was laying down which is odd. I opened the door and he came out with his back left leg lifted. I started freaking out!!! Soon our roommate (whom is a male) came to see what was wrong... First thing I asked was "Since you were home all day did you let Benji out at ALL to go potty or play" he said NO WAY!! when normally he does.... Then I asked my boyfriend who had just walked in the door if he knew what happened and he was completely oblivious to what happened to my dog!! My boyfriend didn't do it because he was very sensitive to the fact that he was hurt. He was very attentive to Benji. My roommate likes to play with him to rough and I ask him to stop. Benji is only 6.25lbs!!! The vet said he did NOT break his hip in his crate, which I completely believe but maybe there is an underlying issue of bone density problems. I know it's a long shot, but he does have bowed legs in the front (they bow inward). So my question is...... Do you know of any maltipoos that might have low bone density or some sort of bone disorder?? Or what kind of force it takes for this to happen to a 6lb, 1 year old puppy!?! Yes he's had xrays. The bone was only broken once, it was not shattered. If that helps?! He's on antibiotics and pain medicine and bed rest for 8 weeks.

Causes constant numbness in left arm?

This question is about a close friend. Almost a month ago he was at a friends house sitting on the couch and all of a sudden he got really weak and lightheaded and he didnt remember much after that except his friends were trying to lift him up and he was soaked in sweat. His friends girlfriend checked his blood sugar and it was only 144. His left arm, whole face, and left leg were all numb. For about an hour after that he was really dizzy, he didnt go to the hospital to get checked out cause he doesnt like to go the hospital (personal reasons). Anyways, a week later he went to his PCP and the dr said sounded like exahuastion and to drink lots of water. So he went home and drank lots of water, however over the last week the numbness has came back in the left arm, left leg. Also, 2 nights ago he had EXTREME chest pain, hard to breath. He only takes testosterone (for having low testosterone) and lexapro. So I took him to the ER and they did an EKG, chest XRAY, head CT, and blood work and everything came back normal. He's still having the same pain. He's drinking lots of water and relaxing. The numbness wont go away in his left arm, causing him to drop things, and chest is hurting again. He doesnt drink or takes illegal drugs. What could it be????

Unexplained Chest Pain?

I went to the ER today because for the past few days I have been having these sharp chest pains, they last only a second and it feels like a shock or stab. They did an EKG, chest Xray and blood work, but found nothing. They sent me home with Ibuprofin and told me to follow up with my regular doctor. These pains come and go, last a second and I can have 3 in 5 minutes or 1 about every hour, nothing makes them more intense or worse. They happen when I'm busy and when I'm relaxed. Has anyone ever had this before?

ok so i was in track and my knee started hurting really bad when i would run or jump or even walk for a long time. so i went to the doctor and they took xrays. apparently i have a tumor in my knee. the doctor says that it half a centimeter right now and its not really mejor. so i dont need surgery unless it get bigger. also i have to get xrays once a year to be watching it. but im not allowed to be in sports anymore and i am a really activem person. so no more running more thatn 2 laps or doing anything involving my legs to be active. the other day i went on a peddle boat and suddenly my knee started hurting really bad and so i had to stop peadling but then it stopped but it kept coming back but i kept pushin it and pushing.and im worried that if soon there is a possibility that my leg might get cut off. i mean im only 14 is this possible? so sorry if im overacting but i really want to know is this tumor bad?

Left lung problem??? help please!!!?

Okay, so I suffered a bleb busting on my right lung two months ago and had surgery a month ago. They did the talcum powder operation. I forgot the name of it. Anyways, recently I have been having pain in my LEFT lung. So today I was sitting around, in a little bit of pain and having trouble breathing. Then I went and help my dad load his truck with watermelons. We loaded fithy and when I got done both my right and left arms from elbow down were numb and also my face. Plus it was even more difficult to breathe. I used my inhaler but it did not help. So I went to the hospital. They took my right back. My blood pressure was not good. They didn't tell me if it was low or high though. The numbness had gone away but I still had problems breathing. Instead of going to do xrays right away... they waited and hour and a half. Then when they took the xrays, I'm not sure because I'm not a doctor, but I think they took them wrong. First they took them from the back... THEN, they took them from my RIGHT side, not my left. And my left side is the one giving me problems remember? SO if it is my left lung, shouldn't they take the xray from my left side??? That and they said they compared the xrays to my last ones in may... which was also facing my back and right side. So, they told me I had inflamation from the surgery and my chest wall was expanding. And gave me moltrin... that was their diagnosis. Now, I am at home about 45 minutes after that... and my left arm still goes numb especially with me typing right now, and my left lung hurts in the lower portion of my back and ribs and in the chest area... on the LEFT SIDE... but my right lung doesnt hurt at all. If it was inflamation from the surgery.. shouldn't my right lung hurt before my left? Breathing is alright.... but still a little difficult, not nearly as hard as it use to be. Please help. i am 17, I have a heart murmur, was born with a pin sized whole in my heart and don't know if it has closed up though the doctors said it should have by now, I have asthma, allergies, and remember a RIGHT collapsed lung do to a bleb erruction. Need anymore information please let me know. I am quite worried right now.

How do you get rid of peeling from a sunburn ?

Okay you guys. This is serious.i live in the desert hot heat,I was in my pool with no sunscreen or anything! I got a huge sunburn all down the front of my body! Even on my shoulders. It hurts to put any clothes on or lay down. The other day I went walking with my friend and I took off my shirt and noticed that I had little bumps everywhere down the front of my body! I hate periods....IN SCHOOL !!!!! and need help please?!?

Ok soooo, i started my period last summer and since then it has been EXTREMELY heavy :( in school i have usually spent the heaviest days at home or at school, not being able to move very much for fear of a leakage. I also don't like having to change my pad at school because i always go to the toilet with friends ( which sounds weird, we just walk there together and go in different cubicles. OBVIOUSLY!) but none of my friends have started and the pad makes a very loud noise! And im also worried about odour. I wear a few around the outside of the knickers so it doesnt roll around :/in the daytime i wear EXTRA absorbent night time pads, which arent the comfiest, but its better than leaking! GYM CLASS (by the way im 12 and are in an all girls high school) okay so tomorrow i have rounders club and i have to go - at lunchtime btw- in pe i just try not to move around too much! I can only go to the toilet every 2 hours! My period should ebd about this friday as i started today in school. I dont want to miss school tomorrow as we are doing this important thing. Also tomorrow we are cooking for our teachers and i find that kind of gross seen as im on it ! So please could i have any tips on how to deal with it in school please please please! Thankyou xx

Mouth pimple or herpes?

About a week ago, I got a single growth on the inside of my lower lip. It died down after a few days (it seemed to be irritated by the mouthwash I use) and then when I started using the mouthwash again, it flared up. I tried popping it today, thinking it might be a pimple, and it bled. I've been looking online about distinguishing characteristics between mouth pimples and herpes -- it seems rare to get mouth pimples inside the lip, but it's a single growth, which makes me think (hopefully!) that it isn't herpes, which usually clusters. Are there more signs I should be looking for? Is there something I can definitively do to judge whether it's a mouth pimple or herpes (short of seeing a doctor; I'm not in my home state right now and am staying here for a pretty short while, so I'm reluctant to go through the hassle of finding a physician). Knee pain, got xray, doctor said no fracture, what could it be?

Sometimes when i walk I feel like my knee gets kind of dislocated? And I stand there trying to pop it after it makes that pop noise, no pain it feels a lot better. At times I have to stand there to stretch it out because it can hurt. Doctor said it was nothing but its obviously not true, xrays showed it was nothing as well, what is it?

I would like to ask how can i stop cough immediately and effectively! I really have a weak body im always at home and only get enough sun when i go to school. Here's my problem. Why does my boyfriend's (previously my) cat lick me when I get on his nerves?

About a month ago my mom said I couldn't keep my cat, Teetoh, so my boyfriend took him in. Teetoh is a very sweet cat who very rarely bites or scratches. However if I start petting him or handling him in a way that gets on his nerves, he'll lick my hand. Whenever he licks me I'll always be like "Ew. Gross kitty kisses." I assume that he does it because of my negative reaction to it in order to get me to stop but what do you think?

Hello everyone, let's make this short. I'm feeling very down, i just had a baby and thing's seem to be falling down. I wish i could give my son my all , but at any second, i'm not going to be able to due to spine problem's. I've been to the hospital alot of time's complaining about movement in my upper spine, near the c parts... Ive told them i felt movement and they still keep turning down.. I was admited to the hospital.. and they did a xray and mris, and fluid test and b12, and they said everything came bck normal but my syptoms keep getting worse. I keep on getting blurred vision, heavy leg's, tingling, numbness, in face, arms and leg's.. I can't litteraly feel my arm's without touching them, they feel very weak and light and wobbly and the feeling doesnt go away... what should i do :( i know it's to late just pray for me....

Ohio Workers Comp PLEASE HELP?

I was injured at work by twisting my knee. It has been 10 days of hell. I have only been off work resting for a total of 4 days ( this goes off a 5 days work week with 2 days off) and other days have been "light duty" which actually made my injury worse. I am 21 years old and the knee is feeling a little better. The first Doctor did an Xray and found fluid in the knee but would not do an MRI i have seen another doctor through the same urgicare and a orthopedist referred to by the urigcare my company sent me to. Both the second doctor and orthopedist have refused to do an MRI on my knee. I am doing my best to go along with the rules but i am becoming concerned that they are trying to send me back to work and i have only had ONE xray a week and half ago that showed fluid in the knee and NO MRI. My chiropractor want me to get an attorney and send me for an MRI. So if you're still reading THANK YOU, so my question is should i go with an attorney to protect me and get an MRI through my chiropractor? I am in no way looking to make a court case and sue ANYONE i just want to be assured nothing is torn and there is no cartilage damage. I am not good at being an asshole which usually means i don't always stand up for myself. Also in the state of OH can i be fired from my company over a workers comp claim? (i do have a union) but legally can i be fired and if my chiropractor makes me sign up with an attorney just to protect me will my Company go on the defensive and turn this into a court case? i have severe fybro with a painful nerve disorder on top of that. the pain is unbareable an all over in my feet, legs, sides, and face. at times it feels like im on fire. ive never had problems with addiction and have taken codiene in the past and lived a fairly normal life. i moved and the doctors here insist that im nuts and a drug addict. how do you find good doctors who are compassionate. do they even exist? im now crippled with pain and lay in the bed in agony all day. its been months and my will to live is getting week. i need help. i heard doctors in florida were more compassionate because they deal with elderly people and i just found out that i possibly have thyroid cancer. my doctor without examining me says " ohhh you dont have cancer" i told her i was just repeating what the emergency room doc said. they found them when they did xrays because i fell off the porch and dislocated my hip and was knocked out.

Broke wrist 5 years ago - still giving me problems. Settle or get sorted?

I broke my wrist and had to have the pins and casts for 3 months ans surgeries as well, and the doc told me if i was old ( like 80 ) they wouldn't do much more about it. Since i was young 13 at the time that I could do the surgery and live with the pain of arthritis by 15. It hurts like hell but I have learned to ignore most of it now. I cannot lift things a certain way either. I did typing classes and this strenghened my wrist a lot, even without physical therapy it was strenghening my muscles now i can lift a grocery bag of light goods. My scar is numb now and I have this pinched nerve that still makes my meat between my thumb and finger bruised , sometimes it turns blue. I wear wrist braces on ever so often for a few days it helps to relieve it and I use the other hand for things not to strain it too much. I actually found that there is a skater guard like for biking etc that has a hard piece of plastic and it works like a splint and feels better than the bandage kind of wraps. I have tried home remedies everything to onions and hot baths. Soaking it in epsom slats bath makes it feel better if it has a lot of pain. For me acetaminophen does a better job than apsirin or aleve or w.e else. I get a migraine excedrine usually if its acting up. THe best thing I do is be light onit and ever so when it starts acting sore try to give it a rest and use the other hand as much as possible. Oh and in my sleep i was putting my wrist on forhead which was hurting in during my sleep, maybe ask someone or record yourself or soemthig to see if your hitting or straining in your sleep. I would think to myslef not to do it and I noticed a big difference , now I don't even do it anymore. Heat always feel better than cold on it , like heating pad over ice etc. That's about all I have on it. I have lived this way for years , I hope it gets easier for you.

ok i have this friend.....lets call her HF for hyper friend ;D. HF is one of those people who everytime you see them they want you to go over to their house or to come over to yours......and i asm one of those people who has trouble saying no. i see her twice a week......did i mention shes ADHD? im not making fun of her at all but people with ADHD you can only have a little bit of before you get annoyed. anyway she came up with this idea that we should get together that night. i see it as a point system, so since i had been to her house twice and shes only been to mine once (we live abotu an hour away from eachother) i figured iowed her. well she came to my house and it was about nine when we got there. the last time she was at my house, we went down in my basement (hangout type place) and made random videos with my camera because she decided she wanted to do it again. she had this crazy idea to make a video tour of my basement and present it as my house.....so she could hold the camera.....to make a long story a bit shorter my parents and i were tired out. her momw as not able to pick her up until 6 (almost twenty four hours of her) we were sitting on my porch waiting for my mom to get home from work....because HF wanted to go to mcdonalds for some reason.......even though i knew my mom wouldnt take us....because she is an awesome mom lol. i asked her if we wanted to go for a walk and she said it was too hot out. later she asked me and i told her it was too hot out and she got mad at me. omg and in the morning she said "can i have some cereal" i have no problem with getting my friends things when they are at my house so i went and got jher some cereal, but heres the thing that REALLY ticked me off.......when she was done slurping (yes slurping) up her cereal she said these exact words: "whats for lunch?" you have to understand she ate a whole container of banana chips and cashews and even some bbq chips that morning. the night before she said she felt like throwqing up so she went on my couch....i believe her but that night she ate a LOT. we got out some paddles and a ball and went outside to lay with them, when we did, she could NOT hit the ball. she kept telling me to throw it right when i clearly was. she made me put down the paddle and toss the ball backand forth until i could throw it and she could catch it. befgore she caught it though she seriously moved her hands out fo the way as soon as the ball cam toward her. i dont know if mshe did it on perpose BUT i do think she wasnt giving much effort. efter that we got the paddles out again and everytime i didnt hit the ball, she would say "the ball is supposed to go right here" and point to the middle of the paqddle. whenever i threw it at her and she missed i would say that exact same thing and she would say "you arent throwing it right, do we need to toss teh ball again?" i was fed up with her and vice versa. after a while we were waiting for her to get picked up and i was tired and acting snotty at that point even thought she might have been a bit too. i was sitting at the table with my mom dreaming about naps......when she asks if i want to go outside and i say "im planted here right now" so she went outside and i came otu after i was forced by my parents. it was awkward and i waited for her to say something like ask what we should do....when she said "what happened to 'im planted here'?" that was it. i went back inside without saying a word....because what are you supposed to sdasy to something like that? she came back in and we went where my parents couldnt hear us. she said "i was joking. i thought you would laugh." and i said "sorry" she said "its ok" this is going to sound really stupid but when you say sorry to something like that you expect the other person to tell you it wasnt ur fault. she said it in a rude voice when i came ouside afte rmy parents told me to. one time i told her the day before i had a graduation to go to, and then she asked me to come to one with her so she wouldnt be bored. i did know both people with graduations but i wanted to go to the one i was going to go to.when i told her no, she got really mad and didnt speak to me for the rest of the day when i already told her i had other plans please tell me who wa more rude and if i can tolerate another sleepove rwith her? also, how can i say no when she wants to get together and i dont want to

My son injured his foot but Dr. says he is fine?

Yesterday my son injured his left foot. From my understanding (I was not home when the injury occurred) my son bent his knees to sit on the floor (looked like he was going to sit on his knees), when his knees touched the floor he started crying that his foot hurt. When I got home, I was told what happened and I looked at it. It wasn't bruised on the outside but it was swollen. I elevated the foot and put ice on his. I thought he has sprained it and figured he would be fine. About 5 hours later, he still could not walk on his foot. I took him to the hospital where they looked at his foot and did xrays. The doctor said that his foot was not swollen (but it was because I could see that it was significantly bigger than the other foot.) and his xrays were normal. They sent him home and told me to give it 2 days and if he still couldn't walk, I was to take him to see our family Doctor. Today he still cannot walk on his foot. His this just a sprain or could something really be wrong that the doctor is not seeing on the xray?

I did that with a surgeon who worked on me and had the problem come back and I didn't like what his way of fixing it was to be so I consulted another surgeon a week before I was to have the surgery and he redid the surgery and it was fine. Question about morphine dosing?

My mother was on 24 hour oxygen, a storm hit and she went on a portable tank which only lasted a few hours. She could not see and fell, I found her laying on the floor. She was awake and told me what happened, she didn't want the abulance to make all sounds and she was hurt. We went to the hospital, once they checked her over the dr gave her 2mg of morphine mom was 89lbs, had copd, asthma, and may have been hypoxia. Than they took her for xrays when she returned she was glossy eyed, unresponsive, and slipped into a coma. It that does too high? I can not seem to find any answers and hypoxia doesn't fit what happened. She went from talking and breathing ok to a coma and passing away all within hours. Any advice is greatly accepted.

For the past couple of months my 2nd to last molar has been bugging me but deep down in the bone not the actual tooth. I'm 14 and I'm pretty sure I have a bladder infection but I'm not positive. I've looked up symptoms online and I think I do. Since yesterfay evening it seems like I have to pee all the time. And then when I go, barely anything comes out most of the time. Then afterwards, I have sharp pains in my pelvic area, or pressure. I'm a 15 year old girl. I can't stop hateing myself. I feel so fat and gross all the time. And I've been extra sick because I have IBS and Lactose Intolerance so far. Severe head, neck, back pain.. Please answer!?

I was in a severe car accident 4 years ago. At the time I had no medical insurance and wasnt able to finish treatments. Ever since then I have suffered with back and neck pain. Just this past month I started experiencing severe right back sided head pain. The neurologist said I have some torn muscles in my neck and will need physical therapy. However now my back pain has gotten really severe. Im really worried about what kind of neck and back damage I have. Im supposed to go in for an xray of my neck and back but I dont know how long I can wait. I feel as though I cant do anything. I cant take anymore pain, especially while trying to take care of our 2 small children. Any advice? Suggestions?

Cat has heart murmur... wat do?

Sugar has been vomiting since last night and we brought her in to the vet this morning. We paid $700 just for a night stay and xray but now the doctor told us she has a heart murmur and that she needs an ultrasound to see if it's the cause of the vomiting. Is this a wisdom tooth?

I noticed these bumps on my gums like in the way back of my mouth. Its been there for a few days and it doesnt bother me at all. I discovered it (to make a long story short) while trying to get stuck food out of my mouth. Its like on the outer side of the gum so i could feel it (well not at all unless my tounge touches it). At first i thought it was a gum infection, but it wasnt bleeding and it doesnt hurt. I felt it with my finger (which was thoroughly cleaned) and it was like 2 small dull blades sticking out. It was probably at most 1 mm of my gum. Then it hit me, it must be my wisdom tooth, but im 12 and my cousin didnt get his removed til he was 26.. im like half of that. Ive heard that the wisdom tooth takes forever to come out but surely itll come out before 14 years. Im meaning to tell my mom to take me to the dentist for an xray checkup but she tells me as long as it doesnt hurt im fine .-. So im just gonna keep asking. So is it possible this is my wisdom tooth? Is It Okay To Eat A Little Unhealthy?

I've been working out and eating usually eggs with fresh veggies, fruit, and oatmeal for breakfast, lunch a couple of porkchops with sweet potatoes and in between snack on lightly salted cashews and beef jerky. Late at night I get hungry though and have old cravings. I'm 5'10 and weigh 215, I'm not trying to lose weight per se, I'm really just trying to get built and and look good without a shirt on. Turn it all into muscle. So is it okay for me to cheat a little like at night eat something microwavable and have a frappuccino or should I not? Can you please help me with my Beagle?

I have a 5 year old male Beagle and and about 5 days ago he started favoring his right front leg. I have felt all around on his left leg to see what could be possibly causing him not to use it, and I couldn't find anything. There aren't any cuts or bruises, and he isn't showing any signs of being in pain at all. We took him to the vet and they couldn't find anything wrong with him, but gave him a cortisol shot and said that should help but it hasn't. He is still not using his leg. He constantly has it tucked up beside him, even when he is sleeping. I've also noticed that it seems to be twitching, or having some kind of spasm. This is also going on while he is asleep. We didn't get an xray while at the vet, I think I'm going back to get one, but this is really strange. Does anyone know what could be going on? I am getting worried!

Why won't my school compromise?

I'm a freshman in high school in Texas that has year round schooling. Why does my cat meow all night long?

For about two months, I have had a swollen, painful left foot. It just started one day for no reason. I have been to a couple of family practice doctors and they do not know. An xray was taken, but it doesn't show anything. The pain and swelling is right on the top of the foot, between the toes and ankle area. I have not had the funds to see a specialist. What is really weird is that it is more painful while resting, and less while standing and walking. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thank you!

My horse was shoes two weeks ago Saturday a week ago tomorrow we took her to the vets do to limping they them pulled her shoes and that's what the problem was she had a sore up in her hoof the vet said so we have been soaking it twice a day and wrapping it and it seems to be more swelled today. Ive been having chest pains?

Ive been getting chest pains to the left side and in the centre i went to my doctor and she sent me for a chest x-ray and a Ecg. My xray results don't come back till next week but my ecg showed a fast heart rate but my doctor just told me to come back when my xray results are back but im worried any one had a similar problem and know what this could be? I went in to the dentist today for a crown that feel off a tooth and my dentist says I need another root canal on the opposite side upper Mohler. I have no pain at all in it or sensitivity to hot/cold, it does not hurt even when i push on it.. No pain at all, He told its a large cavity but im wondering why i can't just get a filling in it? this is the first time I have been to the dentist and i'm just no convinced a root canal in needed, no xray of the tooth was even done. Have you been lifting real heavy objects ? It sounds like you might have a hernia and from what I know if you have hernia they can strangulate which might result in what you describe. Can you help me better understand my slip and fall claim?

I'm a 28 year old single mother and just a month ago, I was in my apartments laundry room and slipped and fell in muddy water that I think came from a leak in the washer and REALLLLLY hurt my back. I landed completely on my back, not on my butt at all. Ouch! My complex took the report and an insurance company contacted me and said they would pay all of my medical bills. Ok great, so I saw the ER Dr. the next morning when I got very concerned that I couldn't even bend over to unplug my phone charger, the ER basically said its a cervical & lumbar strain and gave me prescriptions for pain and muscle relaxers and referred me to a family Dr. I called the Dr. and since I have no insurance they wouldn't see me, I then went to the Chirporactor and she said the Xrays showed a "lot" of commotion and inflammation in my lower back and wants to see me over the course of 3 more weeks at the very least. I have been to now 3 of these appointments and heard that I may be entitled to "pain & suffering" and Yes, I am in great pain, still! So I asked the insurance company about this and they said they would have to open another type of claim, so an adjuster came out to my home, checked out the laundry room where I fell, my shoes and asked me questions. That was just about a week ago, he said he was forwarding his decision to the original person on my claim, and the original person said that I have to wait until I am discharged from the chirporactor and then they can offer me a settlement. I'm not familiar with this type of thing, can someone tell me what I should expect next? Am I entitled to pain & suffering? I am a single Mother and although I'm not in a huge amount of pain right this second, I am extremely uncomfortable every day and can't do normal day to day activities with my kids. Can you please share with me your experiences? She said my medical bills would automatically be covered up to $2000, should I just be happy with that and go on with life? I think if you're doing that much exercise you should be eating more calories than 1200. But I'm not sure :S because usually during a one hour intense workout you burn 600 calories and that would only leave you with 600.

Sometimes taking her to another vet for a second opinion is the best option. I took my Aussie to the vet when she was having urinary problems and the advice from that vet was to let her go through a heat and that will mature her tract enough to fix it. I did not understand his reasoning, so I took her to another vet who said go ahead and spay her (she was about 5 months old at the time and was going to be spayed anyway) so I went with that vet and the problem went away. Sometimes a fresh eye is just what you need.

Dog throwing up for 9 days and not eating?

5 yrs old american bull dog,9 days ago started eating her food very slow, she did this for about 4 days then stop eating and has only had about half a cup of plain can dog food, xrays on her stomach and intestines are clear of blockage, blood work came back normal, she will drink water but i can only give her about 1/2 cup at a time, the smell of any food makes her want to throw up now, she is loosing weight, vet has given her pills for her stomach and pepsid, if she throws up now just liquid , no blood shown and is urinating. Just wandering if any one else has had same thing with their dog.

Our dog is Pregnant now what!?

I wanted a small dog for our children ages 12 and 8. I found a military woman who was trying to find a home for her Corgi - we loved her and she had all her papers, shots - you name it. I have had her for 42 days now, Vet said just by feeling her and listening to her, she is pregnant. Go figure.. I can not get a return call from these people.. I am sad and angry at them! I wanted to have her fixed because we did not want to bring more dogs into this over crowded world. Now we have people lined up who would love one.. and of course we are choosing carefully. I have no clue what breed the other dog was, praying it was her size and not bigger. I am doing my research now about birth of pups.. any advice? We did not get an xray - worried about radiation and we are thinking about an ultrasound but figure heart beat sound and vet feeling, was good enough. She is def prego.. can I get her fixed right after she has her pups? She is an inside dog.. and also, she is only 9 months old.. : (

1.5 yr old female spayed cat, throwing up yellow& clear and foam?

I have a 1.5 yr old female spayed cat. A month or so ago we switched food -didnt see any problems. We went out of town for 3 days....had our neighbor check on her as normal. A week after our return she pee'd on clothes in a laundry basket. Then she started coughing and throwing up (she did pass a large hairball). We took her to the vet after a day of vomiting. He said she was fine and to call back in 2 days. She never ate and began vomiting bile and foam. We took her back - he said blood work was all fine, xrays showed a small soft mass in stomach which he thought was another hairball. She was given an antibotic just incase, and an IV. Two days later she still wasnt eating so he said he thought she would do better at home. Day one she took her hairball meds, drank and ate. Day two and three she ate very little. She has now stopped eating again... has thrown up 4-5 times - all bile, and foam. Her litter box is much less used. She is the only cat....inside.. no chemicals. Any USEFUL suggestions for when I call the vet back?

There was this boy in are grade she used to like cause he's reallly hot...but she stopped cause hes a total asshole expecially to her and calls her ugly and fat and is soo mean to her but its only to her hes nice to me and im friends with him too...he doesnt like her cause i know who he likes. Does peanuts and any nut in general stain your teeth?

I just got my teeth whitened with the zoom treatment and I was curious if I eat cashews or Pistachios or any nut almonds basil nut ect stain teeth? I have also eaten cheerios with chopped bananas and buttered baked french bread already and some mashed white potato's with melted cheddar cheese on top but I pretty much swallowed it without chewing the with the front of my teeth. Also I ate some canned baked oysters soaked in cotton seed oil but I pretty much did the same thing and swallowed those with water. Will salmon stain my teeth or tilapia fish or shrimp? I'm just curious if any of these things stain teeth? I know dark soda smoking beer wine coffee chocolate tomato juice grape juices and fruits with a lot of dark juices can stain. Also heard acidic liquids can open your pores or something like that and allow more staining to occur I don't know if that means like if you drink orange juice or 7 up then eat a chocolate bar you will get stained or if you drink the 7 up alone you will get stained because of the acidic properties..?

What to do about a horrible sunburn?

okay, a couple days ago i went swimming for 6 hours. i had forgot to put sun block on and i have a really bad sunburn. its got a lot of little bumps all over and starting to ooze clear liquids. i dont have aloe or money for it. i have been taking 2-3 warm showers a day and putting lotion on soon after the shower. it feel gross because of the oozing, so i wash it off often. this is the first sunburn that i have had that has been this bad. i have NO idea what to do about it. i cant wear shirts or anything. i cant even wear my bra. it hurts really bad :( anything helps. oh, i tried the tea bags.

I am just wondering what an xray or ct scan can't see. Like an object. Maybe a tiny bead or seed? would you be able to see it on the scan or could it be missed because it is too small or maybe it just can't be seen like skin. Anyone know?

Should my doctor have attempted to realign my broken arm bone externally?

I suffered a spiral fracture of my left humerus during an arm wrestling match 4 years ago. Here is a link to the xray that was taken when the cast was removed 10 weeks later http://www.superpiece.com/temp/humerus091907.jpg The doctor in the emergency room saw my bone and said it still had good alignment so any kind of surgery would be overkill. Then 2 separate opinions from a surgeon and orthopedist in different offices also suggested that the alignment was good enough that surgery would be overkill. My question is, with this type of fracture and no surgery, should any of the doctors at least tried to compress the fragments from the outside with their hands? As you can see from the xray the shape of the bone is different now and I notice it everyday. Could they have simply pressed their hands together to put the bone fragments in a position that would have healed in a more natural looking position and give me less range of motion issues? We they being lazy or worried about a lawsuit or worried about the fact I didn't have health insurance? Help me understand how the outcome of my arm bone could have been any better in these terrible circumstance. Thanks

I get them more when i eat and lay down at night. My doc told me its heartburn. I know what hart burn is and it burns this don't burn. and i also find myself burping ALOT not. What is the cause and how do I prevent these stomach problems?

For the last two years I have gone to a six day (Sunday to Friday) hockey camp. The first day I am fine, but on Monday my stomach starts to really hurt, it feels like there is a giant rock in there and I have explosive diarrhea (sorry to gross you out.) It is really embarrassing to use the restroom, since it is almost never private (meaning there is only stalls to use where other people can hear.) Last year, on Wednesday I found Ginger Ale in the the cafeteria and it didn't hurt after that. So is it homesickness, is it the food, or is it something else? I am going to a different camp (it's the same length) this year, so if it is the food, hopefully it will fix it. PLEASE HELP! How do I stop this?!? It makes the camps not as enjoyable as it should be. I was thinking about bringing Tums this year, maybe that would help? If I do bring Tums, when should I have them because we don't get to go to our rooms anytime besides to sleep and change? Thank you!

My kitty broke her leg!!!?

about an hour ago my cat was playing and jumped on a shelf the whole thing with everything on it came crashing down on top of her. her back leg def looks broken she will not walk on it and you can see where it is very very swollen all the emergency vets open in my area want $300 to $500 to be seen by doc an xray and medication. I lost my job and have moved back home i am BROKE and my parents dont have it i cant start calling to see where i can get her some help until the morning I feel so awful. my poor little baby is in pain i feel like im failing her so bad right now... is there anything i can do to help her with the pain until the morning ive been laying next to her and rubbing her head she purs but she flinches you can tell she in pain she has had some water and snacks but i dont know what else to do for her this is breaking my heart...anything would be greatly appreciated
